Host of the Morning Show
Jack is a seasoned radio veteran who comes to us with a great love for radio, but also for chickens, goats and any other farm animals. He and his wife have been married for more than 20 years, have two children and have recently bought a farm. If you've heard him on the air, you'll know he's excited about being Farmer Jack! The Robertsons are very active in church and Jack has been a great blessing to Renew. Early on he played a big part in helping get some things in order here at the station. Start your day with the Morning Show with Jack!
Email Jack, request a song, ask him about his farm, whatever...: firstname.lastname@example.org
Host of Afternoons with Kim
With more than 20 years in radio, Kim hosts our afternoon show and does a great job! If you’ve listened to Kim much at all you probably know that she loves to encourage listeners and talk about the Lord! She’s a beach lover also and heads that way any time she gets the opportunity. One interesting thing about Kim is her love for animals. She LOVES animals! Renew was actually Kim's first job in Christian radio. It's something she's wanted to do for a long time and we're very happy to have her on the team!
Email Kim, request a song, etc.: email@example.com
James Paul Dice
James-Paul Dice (JP) loves weather. That's his thing! JP is the Chief Meteorologist for Fox in Birmingham, but also does weather for a few stations as well. He's also a pilot and spends a lot of time flying. We’re happy to have JP around to remind us how squirrely our weather can be here in Mississippi!
Ryan joined our team with absolutely no radio experience, so as you can imagine, we were really desperate for some help! Early on, Ryan was a big fan of the station and so we reached out to him to see if he wanted to be involved. He does a lot of background work and plays a key role in what you hear on the air. As a pastor’s kid, Ryan was practically born in church and has worn a number of hats there. He’s currently worship leader at NLCF in Magee. He says Kari Jobe is his favorite concert to date. Can you say “ROCK”!?!?! Ummm...okay. Ryan is married to the love of his life, Jessica, and they have two awesome kids!
Email Ryan, and feel free to give him a hard time: firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Underwriters are the superheroes of Renew and Haven works with those fine folks. She, her husband, two sons and dog recently relocated to Magee and they’ve fallen in love with the town. Haven’s family attends Overflow Church and she loves cooking, traveling and decorating. She’s known to have the “gift of gab” too. Yep, she’s a talker! Give Haven a call if you’d like to partner with Renew!
Email Haven and tell her you'll take our biggest underwriting package, of course (HA!): email@example.com
Pam keeps our finances in order. Pam married her sweetheart, Rickey, and moved to Magee in the 90’s. She and Rickey have two of the sweetest kids and own a business here in Magee that keeps them very busy. We appreciate all you do to keep things in order, Pam. We want to apologize for when we don’t turn in our receipts on time. We’ll try to do better.
Gene Amason II
Gene has been with the station from the beginning. It was actually his pops who first said, “We need to build a radio station for Magee”. Pops passed away in 2015 and Gene pushed forward with the vision. As Pastor of Church Alive, Gene loves seeing God work in the lives of others. He's married to the foxy, Regina Amason, a psychometrist. The couple have two children - which is more than enough for them! Gene was a Marketing major at The University of Southern Mississippi and also earned an MBA from William Carey University. When Gene can't be located, he's most likely running, biking, swimming or at Crossfit. He’s big into the sport of triathlon and has raced in eight Ironman events (three 140.6 & five 70.3) finishing them all.
