Walk For Freedom - Magee, MS

Walk For Freedom is a global awareness event in honor of the millions of men, women, and children who are still trapped in slavery today. Walk For Freedom is distinctly recognized by participants walking in single-file lines, dressed in black, with a yellow bandana across their mouths, symbolizing the voicelessness of those still entrapped by human trafficking.

Church Alive is joining up with the global anti-trafficking organization, A21, to bring awareness to South Mississippi.
Check in will begin in the parking lot of Western Sizzlin in Magee located off of HWY 49 South. After checking in the walk will begin at approximately 8:30. The course will begin on the frontage road in front of the Western Sizzilin walking South towards Dairy Queen. The turning point will be at the end of the frontage road. The course will repeat until a 5k has been walked.

Register: A21.org/Magee

A21 is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works to eradicate slavery in our lifetime. An estimated 27 million men, women, and children are held in slavery today - generating a $150 billion industry. One percent are ever rescued. Every 30 seconds a person becomes a slave. This is why we Walk For Freedom.
